Did you know that with a few easy steps, you can get secure access to your U-M health information online? Click on www.myuofmhealth.org or search My U of M Health. Either will take you to the website where you can set up a free portal, or page that is secure and just for you.
Once you have created your own secure account, you can start accessing the portal’s many features:
Contacting your doctor
Email your doctor about any issues you may be having or to ask a specific question. Do not use the portal for urgent medical matters. For urgent matters, please call 911 or your doctor’s office immediately.
Other medical features
- Request to have your prescriptions renewed
- Make appointments
- View health summary notes
You also have the ability to look up your lab tests, x-ray and other test results as well as learn about clinical health research and find studies that you may be eligible for.
Additional features
There is up to date information about University of Michigan happenings, U-M locations, as well as several helpful links to other types of services available at the University of Michigan.
My U of M Health also provides billing service information and contact information, as well as a search box where you can type in a topic or question about any other information that you might want. All of this is provided in an easy to use template, with multiple drop down menus to choose from. It is very easy to navigate this site, and I think it is a great way to save time and get the most current information about your health.
When searching for lab and other test results there might be a day or so delay in your ability to view these results as they are first reported to your provider and, after a delay, are available for your review. Results do not include information about testing done at non-UM facilities. Direct any questions you may have about these results to your provider.
